A brand-new wave of Spider-Man: No Way Home Funko Pops has officially been unveiled and features all three Spideys. Serving as Tom Holland’s third standalone appearance as Peter Parker, Spider-Man: No Way Home swung onto screens last year and became an instant fan-favorite. In one of the worst-kept secrets in Marvel history, Spider-Man: No Way Home welcomed back Spider-Man alums Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in a web-slinging spectacle that also featured the return of some beloved Spider-Man villains, such as Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin.
Almost a year on from Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s release, Funko have unveiled the long-awaited second wave in their No Way Home collection. Now available for pre-order, the huge drop features all three Spideys, each in their unique suits, as well as unmasked versions of both Holland and Garfield’s Peter Parkers. The collection also features each of the film’s villains, including a metallic Green Goblin that is sure to be a popular choice. Those hoping to collect them all also have the option to pick up a bumper 8-piece set that includes all three Spideys and each of the villains, including Sandman and Lizard. What’s Next For Spider-Man In The MCU?
The events of Spider-Man: No Way Home set up an interesting, though no-less-exciting future for Spider-Man after everyone was made to forget Peter Parker ever existed. However, as of right now there is currently no clear plan for what lies ahead for Holland’s hero. Recent rumors suggested that Holland has now signed a further multi-picture deal to return as Spider-Man throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though this has yet to officially be confirmed. Holland’s return to the MCU is certainly likely, given that there is much more to be explored with this beloved character, though it remains to be seen just where the hero will pop up next.
With regard to where Spider-Man’s MCU future could take him, the most likely possibility is that Holland could return for further standalone Spider-Man projects. Aside from this, however, with a number of major team-up movies on the horizon within the MCU, such as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, one could certainly speculate that Spider-Man will have some involvement with these big-scale future projects. Following Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s release, Garfield’s return was quickly met with calls for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which would continue the hero’s story in a separate universe from Holland’s Spider-Man. With the MCU now deep into multiverse territory, a further appearance from Garfield cannot be ruled out just yet.
When considering the box office of Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as the impact the film has had on the MCU, it’s likely that these Funkos will be highly coveted additions for many collectors. This long-awaited drop is sure to excite Spider-Man fans as they eagerly await news on what’s next for the hero. For now, as Spider-Man: No Way Home nears the first anniversary of its release, just where Holland’s Spider-Man will appear next remains a mystery.
