Spencer and Heidi Pratt open up about their stance on reality star fame.
The couple, who rose to fame on The hills together, married in 2008 and share two children, and on their new podcast, they talked about the pros and cons of their brand of fame and their thoughts on a reality star union.

The podcast, called Minute 16 of Speidia play extended his 15 minutes of fame.
“From the first day we’ve been in the entertainment business, everyone always says, ‘Oh, your 15 minutes are up,’ which I totally respect and appreciate all those fans,” Spencer said. THR before the podcast’s debut. “But I feel like we’ve been working on this 16th minute since at least 2006. I’m not saying we’re the most relevant people of all time, but I feel like we’re always trying to stay in the game. I appreciate the concept of 15 minutes of fame and I like the idea of trying to get a 16th minute.”
The two also talked about the reality stars’ possible union, which was initially suggested by Bethenny Frankel.
Spencer was very clear in her thoughts on this and doesn’t want it to happen.
“A reality show is like getting a scratching post at a liquor store, it’s a win-win,” he explained. “Actors have a craft that they master. Going out and being reckless and drinking champagne and arguing with people about petty things, you don’t need a union for that. That is called blessing. “You can’t compare what it’s like to act, direct and write with someone filming you having a drama in your life.”
