Eric Swalwell is an American politician who serves as the United States Representative for the 15th District of California. Thanks to a soccer scholarship, Eric was the first in his family to go to college. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Eric interned for Ellen Tauscher and became an Assistant District Attorney in Alameda County, California.
Swalwell defeated 40-year-old incumbent Pete Stark in 2012 to join the US House of Representatives. From April 2019 to July 2019, Eric was a candidate in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primary. Swalwell recently found himself in the spotlight after reports claimed he had an association with an alleged Chinese spy.

Eric and Brittany reportedly met through mutual friends in September 2015. The couple married in October 2016 at the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse in Oakland, California. On October 14, Eric wished Brittany a happy anniversary via Instagram. “Happy fourth wedding anniversary to my wonderful wife and the amazing loving mother of our two children #fourmoreyears (and many, many more),” Eric wrote.
They welcomed their son, Nelson, in 2017, and their daughter, Kathryn, in 2018. Swalwell regularly shares photos and videos of their family on social media.
Brittany is an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and the right to abortion. In May 2019, she took over Eric’s Instagram page to speak out about the need for strict observance of human rights.
Eric and his first wife divorced but his identity remains a mystery
Before marrying Brittany, Eric divorced his mystery wife. The lack of information about her has raised suspicions that Eric was never married, but reports of her first marriage come from reliable sources.
So far, Swalwell has refused to say if he was in a relationship with Chinese spy Fang Fang. Axios report on her claims that she had romantic relationships with political leaders in the Midwest.
