In an interview, Soundarya told how she met Vishagan and they decided to get married. Soundarya mentioned that one of Rajinikanth’s friends had suggested Vishagan as a good partner for him; However, she was not ready to move on from her broken marriage at that time. Soundarya said that when they met for the first time, they felt a strong connection, which is why they decided to get married. In the interview, she further revealed that on their wedding day, Vishagan had taken permission from Ved, whose biological father is Ashwin, to marry her. He explained that he captured the moment on video, with the intention of showing it to Ved when he turns 18.
