A week after suffering a serious stroke and being hospitalized, Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus is home and recovering.
Broadus spoke about what happened to him. “I had a severe stroke this morning,” he wrote on his Instagram story last week. “I started crying when they told me. Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all this?
Snoop Dogg’s daughter shared over the weekend that her kidneys were functioning terribly at the time of the stroke. The doctors told him that they had improved a lot since his hospitalization. “God is working overtime, you love me!”
In one of her latest Instagram posts, Broadus shared a snapshot of a “Welcome Home” sign. He previously revealed on Tuesday that he would probably be able to return home within 24 hours. Before discharge, he also received the results of a CT scan which revealed that his chest returned to normal and he was finally going home. “I can probably cry,” she wrote on his Instagram story. “My God, thank you, thank you for the continued prayers, love, etc.”
During the premiere of The underdogs On Tuesday, Snoop Dogg spoke with PEOPLE about Cori’s progress. “She’s doing a little better,” she said. When asked if Cori’s stroke put her life in perspective, she responded, “Yes, yes. Something like that.”

During an interview with PEOPLE In September 2023, Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori spoke about taking an “all-natural” approach to treating her lupus symptoms.
“I’ve been good, better than ever,” he explained. “I stopped taking all my medications about five months ago. I only make everything natural, all kinds of herbs, sea moss teas. I started exercising, drinking a lot of water. So now I think my body is saying, okay, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it.”
Snoop Dogg’s daughter admitted she decided to try a holistic approach to her health after constantly taking medication. She said the medication schedules made her feel like she was going crazy.
“I’ve been on medication since I was 6 years old,” he continued. “Depending on these drugs my entire life. So I wanted something better for myself. “I wanted to change because it became too much.”
Cori then stated that she was only 24 years old and took 10 to 12 pills every day. “So I just went cold turkey.”
