Singga was born as ‘Manpreet Singh’ in the year 1992 (age 27 years; as in 2019) in Ludhiana city of Punjab.

- In 2019, Singga released a song titled “Bachelors”. In the song, a boy without a mustache has been described as gay. An organization called ‘Shaan Foundation’ objected to the content of the song and issued a letter against Singga, strongly opposing the song.
- Another song by Singga titled “21st Century”, which he created with Mankirat Aulakh, also attracted controversy for being inappropriate for class 10, 11 and 12 students. The lyrics of the song say-
I spent my time in jail during class 11th and after that, I failed in class 12th.”
