Sikandar Raza was born on April 24, 1986, in Sialkot, Pakistan. This does it 36 years old starting in 2022. His full name is Sikandar Raza Butt. There is not much information about the name and professions of his parents and siblings.

He later realized his potential in cricket after emigrating to Zimbabwe with his family. Talking about his domestic and franchise T20 career, he went on to play first-class cricket for Mashonaland Eagles. He also played List A cricket for Northern making his debut in 2007. While he also made his Twenty20 debut for Southern Rocks in 2010 against Vipers.
Furthermore, he also played other games in competitions such as the Metbank Pro40 Championship Final in 2010 and the Stanbic Bank T20 Competition. Apart from his T20 adventures, he also played for the Montreal Tigers in the player draft for the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament, the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament.
Furthermore, he also played the Bangladesh Premier League in 2018/19 for the Chittagong Vikings team and played for the Amsterdam Knights in the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament. Additionally, he played for the Trinbago Knight Riders team in the Caribbean Premier League in 2020 and Southern Rocks in the 2020-21 Logan Cup.
Apart from professional matches, he played his international matches for Zimbabwe in May 2013, making his ODI debut against Bangladesh. He became the 116th player to appear for Zimbabwe in this format. While he also made his T20 debut on May 11, 2013, which was also against Bangladesh.
The right-handed batsman has played consistently for Zimbabwe since then and has been one of the team’s permanent players. His career best number in T20 is 59 and his career best number in ODI is 141.
