LL Cool J Joins ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ For Season 3 After ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Series Finale

LL Cool J stays in the NCIS family following the series finale of their longtime show NCIS: Los Angeles.

The 55-year-old host starred in all 14 seasons of the hit CBS series, which concluded with a series finale on Sunday night (May 21).

A day later, the season finale of NCIS: Hawai’i aired, and LL made a surprise appearance to play his role in the series’ third season.

LL will reprise his role as Sam Hanna in the upcoming third season. After we last saw him in the Moroccan desert during the series finale of NCIS: Los Angelesappeared in the spin-off series on a phone call with Vanessa Lachey’s Jane Tennant.

Jane was being attacked in Venezuela and Sam said she was “in the neighborhood” and offered to help her. After she asked if she was in Venezuela, Sam replied, “Morocco, actually, but hey, what’s some borders and an ocean?”

the producers of NCIS said in a statement, “All of us at NCIS: Hawai’i have been huge fans of LL Cool J for years and we couldn’t be more excited or honored to add his spectacular talent to our ohana for season three.”
