Later she did her diploma in acting from Anupam Kher’s Actors Prepare, The school for actors, in Andheri, Mumbai. She currently resides in Mumbai.

Shivangi Roy made her debut in the world of OTT content with the fifth season of Alt Balaji’s show Gandii Baat (2020) also starring Shravani Goswami, Rohit Choudhary, and Narayani Shastri. She played the role of Jugnu in the 4th episode of Gandii Baat season 5. After Gandii Baat Shivangi gained a lot of popularity and further went on to act in the Ullu web series Palang Tod along with Noor Malabika, Tarakesh Chauhan, and Shivkant Lakhanpal.
