Shivam Mavi was born on Thursday, 26 November 1998 (age 24 years; as in 2023) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He made his debut for the India A team against the South Africa A team on 27 August 2018 in a match of the 2018 India Quadrangular Series. He played for India Under-23 in the 2018 and 2019 editions of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

In the auction for the 2023 IPL, he was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 6 crore against his base price of Rs 40 lakh. On his selection, he said that he is happy with his selection and wants to be selected for Gujarat Titans team.
