She is the founder of ADS Crew Ooty, a dance studio in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. Their dance troupe has participated in various dance competitions in India and abroad. On February 15, 2013, she created a self-titled YouTube channel on which she uploads videos related to cooking, skin care, yoga and dance fitness. As of 2023, he has 110K subscribers on his channel.
In 2016, she participated in the Tamil reality TV dance show Jodi No. 1 Season 9 with Alhena ADS and was one of the finalists of the show. The show aired on Vijay TV.

In 2021, she participated in the dance reality TV show Dance vs Dance Season 2 as a choreographer. The show was aired on Colors TV Tamil. In the show, Shayji choreographed the dance performances of her daughters Aishu ADS and Alhena ADS.
