Sharon Osbourne says Ozzy ‘won’t tour again’ after announcing ‘Goodbye’ concerts

Ozzy Osbourne is perhaps the greatest rock star of all time. But as he’s gotten older, Osbourne doesn’t have the energy to perform consistently like he used to.

But Osbourne won’t leave music without a proper send-off. His wife and manager Sharon Osbourne says she will perform two more concerts to ‘say goodbye’.

“He won’t be touring again, but we’re planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye, because he feels like ‘I’ve never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say a proper goodbye,'” Osbourne told Rolling Stone.

“We will do it at Aston Villa where Ozzy is from. His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he’s been free he continues taking singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yes. He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy, he just draws you in.’

Osbourne disappointed at the end of his career

Osbourne has already earned the status of one of the greatest acts of all time. He has nothing left to prove in the music industry. But although he has already established himself, he is disappointed by how he is ending his career.

“My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions and, most recently, the innovative cybernetic treatment (HAL), my body is still physically weak,” Osbourne said in February 2023.

“I never would have imagined my touring days would end this way. “My team is currently brainstorming ideas for where I can perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.”

Osbourne gives update on her health

Osbourne’s retirement is sad for fans. But the reality is that something was going to happen eventually. At 75 years old, he doesn’t have the stamina to be on tour for months at a time. But the rock star has made it clear that his physical appearance is the only thing holding him back. He says his musical talent has not wavered.

“This really shocked me,” Osbourne told Rolling Stone UK of her condition.

“The second surgery went drastically wrong and left me practically crippled. I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one, they put a fucking rod down my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to remove the whole thing too. “It’s pretty tough, man, and my balance is screwed.”
