Sharna Burgess is hitting the team behind dancing with the stars for signing football player Adrian Peterson for next season.
The 38-year-old running back, who has played for teams such as the Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Redskins, will dance with professional Britt Stewart.
Adrian was charged with felony child abuse in 2014 and pleaded no contest. He was also arrested in 2022 on suspicion of domestic violence, but those charges were dropped.
Amid the casting news, fans expressed their disappointment and Sharna is one of them.

Sharna said on her iHeartRadio podcast something old“There is one person that I would like to share that I am really surprised is Adrian Peterson, the football player… The man has been accused of child abuse of his four year old son because of the way he punishes him and that is just devastating “For me. I tell you now, if I walked into a room and that was my roommate, I would turn around and walk out right away. There’s no way, now that I’m a mother, I could handle that.”
Earlier this week, Sharna revealed that she wasn’t invited to return for the new season and also dropped a bombshell about one of her former partners.
