Early life
Serita Jakes was born on August 19, 1955 in Dallas, Texas, United States. He is 68 years old and under the astrological sign Leo. He has American nationality and his ethnicity is African American.

Serita Jakes started her career after getting married because she started working alongside her husband in the church. During that time, she even published a few books. And the names of those books are “The Princess Within” and “Next to Every Good Man.” Her books became popular at that time.
Then, in 1996, Sarita along with her husband moved to Dallas and founded a nondenominational megachurch. The name of the church is “The Potter’s House”. The church had an auditorium with a capacity of 5,000 people, as well as offices for employees and staff. On top of that, the church’s membership grew rapidly as it was able to double the number of members in just 2 years.
Again, the couple established the Christian high school, “Clay Academy” in Woodstock, Illinois, in the year 1998. She is also the founder of the Potter’s House Debuntane Program and the Ladies Leaders of God Life Enrichment Program.
Likewise, Jakes is very popular for being a public speaker and also having in-depth knowledge. He has been able to make television appearances where he spoke on different topics on CNN, Fox News, Oprah’s Next Chapter and The Dr. Phil Show as well.
Additionally, he had a small role in the movie “Not Easy Broken” in the year 2009. The movie stars Morris Chestnut and Taraji Henson. The film was produced by Serita’s husband, based on his book of the same name.
