Screen Rant – The Beautiful Journey – Then, Now & Forever

Ed.Note: The following is a special message written by our CEO, Hassan Youssef

As some of you may know, Valnet is a media brand aggregator with a simple mission:

“An honest commitment to delivering mission-critical content that enriches and entertains millions around the world through our engaging and diverse portfolio of brands.”

Contrary to what many people think, acquiring a business is not difficult. All it requires is will and capital. Today, acquiring a great business/brand is a privilege, a luxury, a rare honor.when we get screen roar Back in February 2015, we knew it was something special, but didn’t fully understand its potential. Who knew it would become a generational brand that would stand the test of time and grow far beyond anyone’s imagination?

A little perspective (the numbers below have remained stable over the past 3+ years):

  • Over 100 million monthly users/65% US
  • Nearly 100,000 pieces of original content every year
  • Ranked #1 for “movie news” searches
  • #1 search for “TV show news”

This is largely down to resilience and passion. For 20 years, we have focused on providing a good and stable foundation for our audience.

I remember a conversation with Rob (Mr. Keyes has been with SR for over 15 years). We discussed that whatever happens with Screen Rant, it’s going to be one of the greatest things to happen while we’re here, and it’s going to be a great thing when we’re long gone. Way to go, my friend!

To our beautiful and growing team and everyone else in this great ecosystem who make Screen Rant what it is today, we are grateful and deeply and forever grateful.

Special thanks to Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Marvel’s Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, Adam Devine, Jeremy Latcham, Julie McNiven, Antonio Ban Dras and everyone who took some time out of their busy lives to celebrate Screen Rant’s 20th anniversary.

A note about the future

There is no doubt that we are entering an era of efficiency, in which artificial intelligence is likely to eliminate most commoditized actions and jobs. In this new environment, originality, quality and uniqueness are likely to flourish further, and on behalf of the Screen Rant team I guarantee that we will lead the way.

Always humble and hungry!
