The new fan art reimagines every actor who plays Batman as the real-life Joker. With Robert Pattinson’s latest addition as the crusader in Matt Reeves’ Batman, the actor has joined the ever-expanding DC universe. His role as Batman is very different from the Expanded Universe, where Ben Affleck took on the iconic role. The actor will reprise his role in 2023 speedJoining Michael Keaton, he will play the role for the first time in over 30 years.
Almost every live-action Batman has had to fight a version of the Joker for years. Barry Keoghan is introduced as the Prince of Crime in a brief scene near the end Batmanwhile Affleck recently shared a screen with Jared Leto’s Joker Justice League by Zack Snyder. But one of the most iconic representations of the character is Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton’s Batman, starring Michael Keaton. However, what if all of the Batman actors played the Joker? Only discovered by a curious and talented fan.
That was the vision of artist Marc Rienzo, who posted photos of each of the Batman actors in the digitally manipulated live-action to become the Joker. Actors Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson have now been reinterpreted as the Prince of Crime mutants. It was as if Bruce Wayne fell into the vat of acid and turned into the Joker instead of falling into the Batcave and turning into the Caped Crusader, and the results were chilling. Check out the art below:
Let’s see what the actors will look like playing the Joker, especially Pattinson, who has the scariest look. Pattinson’s Batman had a funny scene with Keorgan’s Joker, but that clip was eventually cut from the film and posted to YouTube shortly after the film’s release. However, with Rienzo swapping roles and portraying Pattinson as the Joker, one would wonder what it would be like to cast Keegan as the Caped Crusader if he played the Joker instead of Batman.
These possibilities are horribly imagined through Rienzo’s art, depicting exactly how the actor playing Batman would interpret the Joker. If this art somehow inspired Warner Bros. approve a movie that imagines Bruce Wayne as the Joker, it would certainly be an interesting reinterpretation. As the multiverse prepares to expand speedThe possibilities for a clown variation are now endless.
