Savannah Chrisley says her parents Todd and Julie are ‘struggling’ in prison

Savannah Chrisley is giving fans an update on her parents’ time in prison.

Earlier this year, Julie and Todd Chrisley were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion. At the time, they were sentenced to a combined 19 years in November and Todd was ordered to serve 12 years, while Julie was given seven years.

In an interview with E! News, Savannah revealed that the couple has gone eight months without speaking as a result of their time in prison.

“Mentally, it’s a tough place to be in. You do the same things over and over again, every day. And missing your children… Missing us is difficult, but also missing each other,” he told the outlet.

Savannah continued, “They were together 24/7 and they haven’t spoken in eight months now, and that’s the hard part.”

Savannah also spoke about the couple’s recent sentence reduction, which was upheld earlier this month. “She took approximately two years of reduction from dad and 18 months from mom,” she said.
