Sarbani Nanda was born on Tuesday, 7 May 1991 (age 31 years; as in 2022) in Phulbani, Kandhamal, Odisha. His zodiac sign is Taurus. She studied at Sri Sathya Sai High School and Government Girls High School, Phulbani. She completed her graduation from Ramadevi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar. He did a Master’s degree in Business Administration from North Odisha University (now Maharaja Shriram Chandra Bhanjdev University). He trained at the Mittal Champions Trust in South Africa and Australia in 2009 and 2011 respectively. He started competing in athletic competitions in 2007 and has won medals in several national and international competitions. He completed the 200 meters race in 23.07 seconds at the XXVI International Meeting G.Kosanov Memorial in Almaty, Kazakhstan and qualified in 200 meters sprint for Rio Olympics 2016. She finished sixth in the heat level of the 2016 Olympics. He trained with the MVP Track and Field Club in Kingston, Jamaica under coach Stephen Francis from 2018 to 2021. He participated in various local competitions in Jamaica and the National Games held in Gujarat in 2022. He competed in the 4 x 100 meters relay at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Controversy
Sarbani Nanda made an angry statement towards the conducting officials after the final of the 200m sprint event during the 61st National Inter-State Athletics Championships held in Chennai in June 2022.
