Sarah Beeny Announced That She Is Diagnosed With Cancer

Sarah Beeny, a British TV personality, has said that she is battling breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. In an interview with The Telegraph on August 29, the 50-year-old said she was “a bit down” after learning about her diagnosis. However, she said:

“I’m happy to live in a family we all talk to.”

The broadcaster announced that she underwent her first round of chemotherapy last week and will undergo radiation and surgery later this year. She also mentioned being “one step ahead of the epidemic”. The TV star also revealed that she cut her hair with the help of her family and donated to a charity dedicated to giving free wigs to children with cancer. Beeny said she always looked forward to being diagnosed with breast cancer and had “waited 40 years to hear those words”. She lost her mother Ann to the same illness when she was 10 years old, while her mother was 39.
