Sahil Khattar made his acting debut in 2021 with the crime thriller film ‘200 Halla Ho’ directed by Sarthak Dasgupta and Alok Batra. The film tells the story of a real incident that took place in 2004 in which 200 Dalit women united and took legal action against Akku Yadav, a gangster, dacoit, serial rapist and murderer. Sahil Khattar played an important character named Bali Chaudhary in the film and received much appreciation for it. The film was released digitally on 20 August 2021.
In the same year, Sahil Khattar also starred in the Hindi-language sports film ’83’. The film was first announced in September 2017 by Reliance Entertainment and Vibri Media. The companies hosted an event to announce the film with the 1983 World Cup winning team before shooting. Shooting of the film began on 5 June 2019 in England and the film was announced for release on 24 December 2021. Sahil Khattar played the character of former Indian cricketer Syed Kirmani, who was part of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian team. , The role of Kirmani was offered to her due to her resemblance to Sahil. During an interview, Sahil told that he got this role because of his looks. He said,
The good thing was that I never auditioned for this role. This was given to me after seeing my face. I seem to be the twin brother of Syed Kirmani. So when the film came to me, I was in a really good mental state where I could recognize the potential of this film.

In 2011, he ventured out of Chandigarh to explore the entertainment sector in Mumbai. When he told his parents about it, his mother tried her best to keep him in their town and his father insisted on him joining their family business. To pursue his dream of becoming an entertainment king, he lied to his family that he was leaving for a reality show and would return in just a month. Sahil Khattar made his television debut in 2011 with the comedy dating show “Date Trap” aired on UTV Bindass. He acted in several episodes of the show. He got his next break in StarPlus’ comedy reality show “Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla”.

It gave me a second lifeline to my career. There was a time in between when I had no work. Things changed after ‘Being Indian’ came into my life and I have never looked back since then and I never intended to do so. In November 2021, Sahil Khattar became the co-owner of the YouTube channel ‘Being Indian’. The channel was initially created by Culture Machine and was later sold to another company. Earlier ‘Being Indian’ used to run on sketches and non-fiction but now we are going to create long form content also. So, we are going to stream web series, sketches, dramas and street interviews. I’m glad I have things under control and I’m going to figure out what the programming will be like. We’ll be doing live shows like Saturday Night Live, lots of talk shows, sketch comedy, reaction videos and blogs as well as FIFA screenings.”
Sahil Khattar also has his own YouTube channel named “Khattarnak”. He proudly admits his decision to start his own YouTube channel. When he was asked about this he said,
Thank God, I stepped out and opened my own YouTube channel in between and I started getting a lot of deals. There is no greater proof of my talent than ‘being an Indian’. It is an honor and pleasure to be associated with it.”
