In 2021, he was bought by Tamil Thalaivas team for Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 for Rs 8 lakh. In his second season of the PKL, he achieved 82 tackle points and 1 raid point.

- In 2022, during Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Rathi suffered a knee injury while playing for Tamil Thalaivas in a Pro Kabaddi match against the team Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Gachibowli Indoor Complex in Hyderabad. The injury was so serious that he had to be carried on a stretcher during the game.
