Russell Brand is facing very serious accusations.
On Saturday (September 16), the 48-year-old comedian was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse by four different women over a seven-year period from 2006 to 2013.

A woman alleged that Russell raped her during their second encounter at his Los Angeles home on July 1, 2012, after they had consensual sex a month earlier. Media cited medical records showing the woman was treated at a rape crisis center earlier that day.
Hours after the alleged incident, the woman claimed she texted Russell: “When a girl says[s] “NO, means no.” Russell then allegedly responded, “I’m so sorry.” Screenshots of the alleged conversation were published in the report.
Russell, who was married to Katy Perry from 2010 to 2012, allegedly did not use a condom when he committed the rape.
A second woman claims she was 16 when she met Russell, then 31, in 2006 while shopping in London. During her exit, the woman claims Russell reached into her purse, pulled out a dress and said, “You’re going to wear this on our date this week.”
The woman claims she then told her mother about Russell, and her mother allegedly insisted that she tell Russell her age.
She claims she told Russell she was 16, but alleges he didn’t care. During her first date, the woman claims Russell immediately asked him to confirm her age and he allegedly said, “I don’t give a damn if you’re 12… I need to know where I stand legally.”
The woman claims she and Russell dated for about three months and says that while he was “very charming” at the beginning of the alleged relationship, Russell allegedly became abusive and controlling. She claims that he once “forced his penis down her throat, causing her to choke.”
A third woman claims Russell threatened her with legal action if she told anyone that he had sexually assaulted her while they were working together in Los Angeles in 2013.
The fourth and final woman is Russell’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Martin, who alleges that he sexually assaulted her and physically and emotionally abused her. He previously shared her accusations in his 2014 book. kNot: Entanglement with a celebrity.
Before the exposé was made public, Russell posted a video in which he denied the “very, very serious criminal allegations” against him.
