Santa Claus cast

Rant screen: Santa Claus This is the legacy story of how Scott Calvin became Santa Claus, and you’re all learning about it. Who are you Santa Claus series and how has that affected the way you play each character in the series?

Rupali Reid: Of course. Santa Claus is amazing, it’s like a movie about Wednesday Santa. Playing this character is really fun and exciting, really fun.

Matilda Lawler: You use the word “legacy,” which I think is a good way of saying it. This is an iconic franchise and our mission is to preserve it and add color to it in a special way. So it was a very special experience.

Devon Bright: Well, “legacy,” as Matilda said, is iconic, so I feel it’s my responsibility to preserve it, but also to be a part of it, to make it a place where I’m also a part of it, and I not only continue it, but make it a part of myself. So it’s trying to find that balance, but it’s really fun to shoot. So I want people to feel the nostalgia coming back, but they also appreciate the presence of new characters.

Santa Claus The series also features many memorable characters, such as Bernard the Elf. When playing characters like Santa’s elves that have been around for 28 years, how did you guys try to make each character on the show feel in their own way?

Devin Bright: I feel like adding a bit of my personality to Noel is one way I do it, and as long as I play my character well, I can become one of those genies that people watch when they watch their favorite movie. So I thought of adding my own personality so that I could add my own character and my own character. So I’m really happy trying to do that.

Rupali Redd: Yeah, that was really interesting because I added some of my real personality to the TV show. I’m half black, half Indian and so is my personality, which is interesting to me because it resembles me.

Matilda Lawler: I love that question. I feel like whenever you play a character, you just get into that character. Your personality is already there naturally, but I think I added my personal touch to it, as Devin and Rupali said. I’m obsessed with my character, so I’m excited to play her.
