Rohit Paudel is a Nepalese cricketer who has captained the Nepal national cricket team in various tournaments and helped Nepal qualify for the Asia Cup for the first time in 2023.

Rohit Kumar Paudel was born on Monday, 2 September 2002 (age 20 years; as of 2022) in Buddha Basti village, 14th ward of Bardaghat Municipality, Nawalparasi district of Nepal. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He was interested in cricket since childhood and used to play tennis ball cricket with his brothers and friends since the age of five.
In 2014, after watching Nepal play in the T20 World Cup, he made up his mind to become a professional cricketer. He later moved to Kathmandu and trained at the Baluwatar Cricket Academy where he learned the basics of cricket under coach Sunil Lama. He later took training from batting consultant Monty Desai. He played in local and club tournaments before being selected in the Nepal Under-19 cricket team.

In November 2019, he played at the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup and later at the South Asian Games, helping Nepal win the bronze medal. He was given a central contract by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in September 2020.

He made his T20I debut against UAE on 31 January 2019 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On 2 April 2022, he scored his first T20I half-century against Malaysia by scoring 51 runs off 34 balls.
