Rita Ora reacts to criticism of her daring style: "It is extremely misogynistic"

Rita Ora is known for pushing the boundaries of fashion with sheer looks, high slits, and even more, which some fans aren’t all that excited about.

“Anyone who draws outside the lines will get that,” she shared about the backlash to some of the looks she wears at events with her husband, Taika Waititi, and when she’s alone.

Rita also shared that she sought Jennifer Lopez’s advice on how to pay attention to her private life instead of her work.

“He just kept going, ignoring the noise. How do I think women are treated differently? Do you have all day? I’ve had it my whole career: people judge what I wear and say, ‘Is she too naked?’ Or, ‘Can she say things like that?’ I find it extremely misogynistic.”

He also said that he looked to Madonna to learn how to handle himself when he is met with hate.

“She knew that not everyone was going to agree with her, and she did it anyway,” Rita said. “I’m thanking her for that, because she’s given me the ability to be more outrageous, a little more extravagant with things: how I dress, the things she might say. I’m not perfect, but I think that’s what entertains my fans the most.”

One of Rita’s most recent statement fashion looks was a fully sheer, backless feathered dress she wore in Los Angeles.
