Rita Bahuguna Joshi is an Indian politician and teacher. She has served as a cabinet minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. He served as the President of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee from 2007 to 2012. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna was his father. She joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 20 October 2016. In 2019, he contested the general elections from Allahabad constituency on a BJP ticket and won.
