Rihanna turned heads in a red on red look in New York City!
The 35-year-old singer stepped out for a late-night dinner with his partner, A$AP Rocky, on Sunday night (April 23).
For the outing, Rihanna showed off her growing baby bump (she’s expecting her second child with Rocky) while wearing a semi-controversial trend from the early 2000s: wearing a skirt over pants!
Her look consisted of a sheer, high-necked top and skintight skirt, which she wore over her matching flared pants, with a pair of strappy heels.
Rihanna isn’t the first to try to bring this trend back: actress Katie Holmes pulled the look for the jingle ball 2022 in December.
Katie’s stylist Brie Welch said the look was “a more youthful feel to the Jingle Ball and the atmosphere there” at the time.
Rihanna has previously spoken about her personal style of motherhood during her first pregnancy.
