Gina Kirschenheiter breaks her silence.
The 39-year-old man Real Housewives of Orange County The star first opened up about her co-star Shannon Beador’s DUI last week, just weeks after Gina spoke out about Shannon’s alleged drinking problem and told her she should go to rehab.

“I’m glad I haven’t addressed this until now. I know I have to address it, right? I feel like this is a safe space. This is where I feel comfortable…yeah, obviously…the irony of this is greater, but honestly, at the end of the day, I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and Shannon and in general, just not having it in me. I’m not going to kick someone when they’re down, you know what I mean? she said.
“I’ve been depressed. I know where she is right now. It’s not a good place to be, mentally and emotionally… you have this platform and this celebrity, and you make a really bad decision and you’re like ‘well, that’s it for me,’” she continued.
“First instinct is thank God, obviously she didn’t get seriously hurt or hurt anyone else. Obviously it’s the worst mistake you can make…so I’m glad everyone is okay. But it sucks, it’s hard. I feel bad for her. There’s a part of me: I’m not going to lie to everyone and tell them that I didn’t wake up and think ‘oh shit, this is like karma.’ But I very quickly got over that. Then I got angry about a lot of things for a minute. And now I have really adjusted to appropriate sympathy for the situation and for her. I don’t want to see anyone down. I have never.”
