Rapper TI, known for his unwavering stance on family and respect, came out in full force to handle a situation involving a club trying to capitalize on a recent feud between him and his son, King.
Scheduled to appear at Atlanta’s Elleven45 Lounge for “R&B Wednesdays,” TI and King discovered a promotional flyer showing a Photoshopped image of the rapper apparently holding King in a headlock. The altered image was intended to joke about an incident during a recent Atlanta Falcons game where King expressed frustration about him, claiming to have grown up in a harsher environment than reality.
Expressing its displeasure at the midfielder’s insensitivity, TI made a bold decision by confronting the club’s management, making it clear that such a description was unacceptable. The rapper adamantly insisted that changes had to be made to the promotional material or else the scheduled appearance would be cancelled.
TI stopped at a club in Atlanta to check that they hadn’t put pictures of him and his son on a flyer to promote a party they weren’t booked for.
“Don’t play with me in this city.” 👀

In asserting its influence and connection to the city, TI emphasized that regardless of whether the club’s leaders were local or outsiders, they were expected to meet its standards.
In response to TI’s firm stance, the club promoter quickly modified the flyer to remove the controversial image. The event then went ahead as planned on Wednesday.
Staying true to their commitment, TI, King and Domani attended the event, projecting a united and harmonious front, indicating that the family’s complaints had been addressed and an amicable resolution had been achieved.
