In his first school as a teacher he observed that the condition of the school infrastructure was not good and most of the girls in the village were from the tribal community. At the time, girls’ education was not promoted in such communities, and their marriage in adolescence was very common. Another problem that Disale observed was that the school curriculum was not in the regional language of the students (Kannada), hence, he started learning Kannada and redesigned all the textbooks in Kannada from class 1st to class 4th. They also included audio poems, stories and video lectures in Kannada with unique QR codes and with the help of this students were able to study even from their home, especially girls who were not allowed to go to school.
In 2009, he joined Zilla Parishad Primary School, Paritewadi, Maharashtra as an assistant teacher. He has started many projects like ‘Chup Baithe Bapu Denge’ and ‘Hour of Life’ to promote education among children. His project “QR Coded Text Books” was so successful that the Government of Maharashtra implemented this project in all the curriculum of Maharashtra. He has also copyrighted his creative idea “QR Coded Text Books”. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) decided to implement their idea of QR textbooks in 2019.
