Ranjit Venkatraman Naik was born on Wednesday, 11 July 2001 (age 22 years; as of 2023) in Bhatkal, Karnataka. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He studied in the local government school of his city. In 2018, he moved to Moodbidri to pursue graduate studies at Alva College. Ranjeet belongs to a lower-middle class family. In September 2022, Ranjeet was bought by Patna Pirates for a price of Rs. 8.78 lakh. Ranjit Naik made his debut with Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League when he became a member of Patna Pirates. In its 9th season, Ranjit played a total of seven matches. He maintained a raid strike rate of 45% and a tackle strike rate of 50%. Throughout the season, he scored 17 points for his team, Patna Pirates. He is an all-rounder who contributes to both raiding and defense during the game
