He was born on 23 April 1980 in Kochi, Kerala, India. Since childhood, she was interested in acting and modeling. She was first noticed after winning the Miss Kerala 2000 title. Ranjini gained more popularity as the host of the singing reality TV show, Star Singer, aired on Asianet. He hosted that show for five seasons. In the Malayalam industry, she was highly criticized for her poor Malayalam pronunciation and has been called the mother of modern Malayalam.
