In 2010, Arjan started his film career as a child artist in the Bollywood film My Name is Khan. In the film, he played the role of Kajol’s son Sameer Rathod. In an interview, talking about working with big names like Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol and having Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra as assistant directors on the sets, he said,
Can’t believe a decade has passed…it feels unreal. This film was a life-changing experience for me. Siddharth used to help me with my dialogues; We will do a dry run of the entire scene. He used to speak Shahrukh’s or Kajol’s lines and I used to speak my own lines. I recently did an advertisement with Varun. When I introduced myself, he couldn’t believe that I had grown so much. We were shooting in Goregaon and Shahrukh came to me and asked my name. He was like, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll do it.’ Would you like me to bring you some fruit and water? You want to practice once’. Kajol also used to ask about my school, studies… Karan sir used to make sure that whenever I gave a good shot, I was taken care of and praised.
