Rajat Sain is an Indian journalist, filmmaker and documentarian who has worked in the media and entertainment industry for over a decade. He went viral after marrying popular standup comedian and impressionist Saloni Gaur.

Rajat Sain was born on Saturday, 1 December 1990 (age 32 years; as in 2022) in Chandigarh, India. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He studied till 10th class from The Tribune School, Sector-29, Chandigarh.
He studied 11th and 12th standard in non-medical stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-46, Chandigarh from 2007 to 2009. Rajat started his journalism career in February 2011 at Panjab University, Chandigarh as a campus reporter for Dainik Bhaskar and worked there till March 2013. From July 2013 to September 2014, he worked as a special programmer at ABP Network in Chandigarh. From October 2014 to December 2015, he worked as a Production Specialist at Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), New Delhi.
In January 2016, he began working at news and entertainment portal The Lallantop as the head of production. He has also covered several state elections and conducted interviews with many politicians like Bhagwant Mann, Randeep Surjewala and Dushyant Chautala.
Documentarian and Filmmaker
Rajat loved photography and shooting videos since his teenage years. When he enrolled in his undergraduate degree, he started making short documentaries about various issues that are ignored in society.
His first documentary was named Vichoda (Promise), based on honor killings, which he made while studying in his first year of college. Later he made several short films and documentaries such as Sukhna – A Lake of Emotions, Sadak Ke Us Paar, Arvil to Orwell and Mriga Trishna.
