Rachna Krishna was born in India. He did his schooling from Carmel High School, Bengaluru. From 2014 to 2018 he did B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. When she was studying at VIT, she was a member of the student council. After completing her graduation, she worked as a Marketing Business Development Intern and was responsible for the branding of OYO Rooms in Vellore. Later, he pursued an MBA in Digital Technology and Innovation from Questrom School of Business, Boston University in the United States. While studying at the Questrom School of Business, he served as vice president of a student-led club called BizTech Club. He also served as a graduate advisor for the student organization Product Vision Club.

On 8 June 2023, she married Indian cricketer Prasidh Krishna in a South Indian ceremony. On June 6, 2023, the couple got engaged to each other. Many Indian cricketers including Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Devdutt Padikkal and Krishnappa Gowtham attended their wedding ceremony in 2023.

In December 2015, Rachna joined Microsoft as an intern and worked there for about six months. In May 2016, he started working at Mahindra Comviva as an Android development summer intern, where he worked on an online coupon-based app called Zurch. In January 2018, he started his internship at Cisco. In January 2018, she became a regular employee at Cisco in Bengaluru, where she worked in various capacities including High Touch Operations Manager – Customer Experience 1 (January 2018-March 2020), Product Manager (February 2019-August 2020), and High Touch Work done. Operations Manager – Customer Experience 2 (April 2020-September 2020). After working at Cisco for more than two years, he left the company in September 2020.

He started a part-time job as a Venture Scholar at G51, a boutique venture firm in Boston, Massachusetts, in September 2020. In June 2021, she did a three-month internship at CVS Health as a Digital Product Intern. In January 2022, he worked as a corporate strategy and M&A intern at BitSight. In July 2022, she joined Dell Technologies in Austin, Texas as a product manager.
