Priyavrat Fauji, also known as Fauji, is an Indian gangster. Reportedly, he was involved in the murder of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district of Punjab on 29 May 2022.

Priyavrat Fauji was born in Garhi Sisana, Kharkhoda tehsil, Sonipat district, Haryana, India. He attended a local school in Garhi Sisana village, Sonipat, Haryana, where he grew up. He learned wrestling in his native village. Priyavrat studied at Army Public School, Pune. It is said that Priyavrat has studied only till class ten.

Priyavrat had joined the Indian Army through sports quota. Due to his participation in various sports competitions and winning gold medals in wrestling, Priyavrat was promoted to the rank of Subedar by the Indian Army, and was posted in Pune. Priyavrat was given a month’s leave by the Indian Army after winning a gold medal in wrestling, and he returned to his native village in 2015, where he met Ramkaran Baiyanpur, the head of the Ramkaran gang, and the two became fast friends. After which Priyavrat never joined the Indian Army.

Priyavrat Fauji has a long list of criminal activities and several cases related to extortion and murder are registered against him across the country. There are more than twelve criminal cases registered against Priyavrat, including four cases of murder and five cases of attempt to murder. In 2015, Priyavrat, with the help of his associates Manjeet and Monu Dagar, had killed a boy and dumped his body in the Yamuna Link Canal, after which the Sonipat police caught him and sent him to jail. When he was released on bail, he joined the Ramkaran gang and quickly became famous as the sharpshooter of the Ramkaran gang.

Even after a year of Krishna’s murder, when the police could not find him, the police announced a reward of Rs 5,000 on him. 25 thousand rupees will be given to the person who finds him. On the evening of May 29, 2022, Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by several unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa. Sidhu Moosewala was traveling in his Thar jeep with his cousin and a friend when the incident occurred. According to reports, a white Bolero and a dark gray Scorpio stopped their vehicle, and the shooters inside the Scorpio opened fire on Sidhu; He was taken to a local hospital and declared dead. After his death, both Goldie Brar and Sachin Bishnoi took responsibility for Sidhu’s murder on their Facebook pages. Lawrence Bishnoi later confirmed the incident in a Facebook post in which he claimed that he had killed Moosewala along with his group members Sachin Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.

The Bolero car used in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala was later seen in CCTV footage at Fatehabad filling station. Priyavrat Fauji and Ankit Sersa caste were identified from CCTV footage. After Priyavrat Fauji was identified in the CCTV footage, the police scrutinized Priyavrat’s calling details and found out the name of Manjeet alias Bhola. Manjeet had already been arrested in a murder case in Rukhi village; Monu Dagar was also a suspect in this case. According to reports, Monu Dagar was the person who sent two shooters to kill Moosewala on the orders of Goldie Brar.
