Andreina Martínez Faunier-Rosado was born on Monday, 22 September 1997 (age 25 years; as of 2022) in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. During the final round of Miss Universe 2022, Andreina Martínez was asked how she would work to demonstrate “that Miss Universe is an empowering and progressive organization” if she wins. He surprised everyone by saying,
I understand that the Miss Universe Organization is looking for an ambassador, someone who is able to deliver the message. I have been working for women’s rights for as long as I can remember. I’m here to show us that no matter where you come from, your background doesn’t define you. Your courage and determination are you. And I will show my ownership and determination by working in this organization every day.
She won the second runner-up title at Miss Universe 2022, while R’Bonnie Gabriel of the United States was crowned the 71st Miss Universe.

In 2016, Andreina worked as an academic tutor and until 2020 taught Spanish language to foreign students studying at the City University of New York City College. In 2016, she became an ambassador for America Needs You, a non-profit organization. In 2017, Martínez interned under Senator José Serrano in the New York State Senate for four months. From September 2017 to May 2018, she was a health teacher at Peer Health Exchange, where she provided health education to high school students from 9th grade to 12th grade. In 2018, Andreina worked as a Capitol Hill intern for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand in Washington, DC.
