According to reports from People and the sunday timePrince Harry (and his and Meghan Markle) were excluded from the list so as not to cause tensions between the estranged siblings at the event.
Prince William, Princess Catherine, King Charles and Queen Camilla were reportedly invited.
“We are not in a position to comment on the guest list,” a spokesperson for the Duke of Westminster told People.
A source said (via the Sunday Times): “It is incredibly sad that it has come to this. Hugh is one of the few close friends of William and Harry who has maintained strong ties and a line of communication with both of them. He wishes they could put their heads together and fix things, but he realizes that’s unlikely to happen before the wedding. He wanted to avoid anything overshadowing the day, especially for Olivia and he doesn’t want any discomfort.”
There is said to be a lot of tension between Prince Harry and Prince William, and the royal issues were further highlighted in the most recent insider book, “Endgame.”
