Aniket Nikam, also known as Aniket Ujjwal Nikam, is an Indian criminal lawyer who practices in the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

Aniket is an independent criminal lawyer and defense lawyer in the Bombay High Court and Supreme Court of India. In 2014, he appeared in the Bombay High Court to file a bail plea for MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) promoter Jignesh Shah in the Rs 5000 crore National Stock Exchange Limited scam. He also appeared in high-profile cases including the Adarsh housing scam and Jalgaon housing scam.
In 2016, he appeared as legal counsel to Naveen Agarwal and Sachin Agarwal, directors of Maple Group. They were under suspicion for allegedly duping people through advertisements offering 1BHK flats for just Rs 5 lakh. He was successful in getting both of them bail. In 2017, he helped Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra obtain anticipatory bail (this is an instruction to release a person on bail, which is issued even before the arrest of the person) in a fair payment case .

He has handled several other high-profile cases related to financial scams and other criminal cases including Nagina Hassan’s daughter’s murder case (2014), Fakt Marathi in the TRP case and Anil Deshmukh’s money laundering case (2022).
