What would you do if you became a millionaire in a few seconds? For Powerball winner Pamela Bradshaw of North Carolina, her experience took her straight to the ground, in front of Ryan Seacrest and millions of viewers on Dick Clark’s rocking New Year’s Eve.
“Congratulations! Number 1, Pamela! You’re a millionaire!” Ryan Seacrest bellowed over the music and shouts of the crowd. american idol The presenter had barely spoken the words when Pamela Bradshaw fell to the ground at his feet.
Surprised, Seacrest knelt down to help her up and quickly realized that his Powerball winner was excited, not sick. Bradshaw jumped again, throwing herself into Ryan Seacrest’s arms and nearly dragging him to the ground with her before she wisely handed the ecstatic lottery winner to a family member.

Twitter goes crazy over the New Year’s millionaire’s reaction
As expected, Twitter had an absolute field day with the comical yet heartwarming scene. “Doubt. Did she fall to the ground? I felt it to the core. She was happy “now I can pay some bills.” Congratulations to her and her family! One viewer wrote.
“Are you okay man?” another said with a laugh, tagging Ryan Seacrest. “He definitely told his daughter ‘I peed myself,'” a third added.

After the Powerball winner’s overexcited (but totally understandable) reaction, she was able to have a quick conversation with Ryan Seacrest.
“Pamela…North Carolina…this is my first time here in New York City and in the new year you’re going to walk away a millionaire,” Seacrest said. “Powerball first millionaire of the year. Can you say any exciting phrases?
“I thank God,” Bradshaw responded. “I’m so blessed.”
“I’m so happy for you,” Seacrest said with a smile. “You promised your daughter some. Maybe a little more than that?
In a promotional video before the big event, Pamela Bradshaw revealed that if she became the winner of the New York Powerball, she would invest the money in buying her first home.
