The 36-year-old tennis player won his 23rd Grand Slam title on Sunday (June 11) with a 7-6(1), 6-3, 7-5 victory over Casper Ruud in the French Open final, breaking a tied with rival Rafael Nadal for the most major individual trophies in men’s tennis history, via CBS.

With his 23rd Grand Slam title, the most ever won by a man, he becomes the only man to win a slam three times in his career, the longest-reigning Roland Garros singles champion and returns to No. 1 of the world, through The tennis card.

He is now the first man to win all Grand Slam tournament titles at least three times, winning the Australian Open 10 times, Roland Garros three times, Wimbledon seven times and the US Open three times, until US Open Tennis.
