To defeat the Vast White Legendary Reshiram in a Pokémon GO Raid, Trainers must use pocket monsters wielding one of three elemental Movesets.
One of the strongest Dragon- and Fire-type combatants for Pokémon GO Raids is Reshiram, the Vast White Legendary that Trainers can encounter as a Raid Boss in January 2023. This lion-style draconian pocket monster served as the mascot for Pokémon Black and possessed the strength to serve in the mighty Tao Trio alongside Zekrom and Kyurem. Likewise, Pokémon GO‘s version of Reshiram is a formidable opponent, wielding 229 Attack, 178 Defense, and 15,000. However, as a Tier-5 Raid Boss with 53394 CP, Reshiram can only be taken down by the strongest combatants in Trainers’ rosters.
Beyond bringing high-CP Pokémon to a Legendary Raid, Pokémon GO players must understand the Vast White Legendary’s weaknesses and optimal counters to achieve a smooth victory. As a Dragon- and Fire-type pocket monster, Reshiram takes very little damage from Fire- and Grass-type attacks and also can resist Bug-, Steel-, and Electric-type abilities. On the other hand, Trainers have a strong chance of defeating this Raid Boss if they use combatants wielding Ground-, Rock-, or Dragon-type Movesets.
How To Counter Reshiram in Pokémon GO
Based on the three weaknesses of Reshiram in Pokémon GO, sources at Pokebattler state that Shadow Salamence, Shadow Dragonite, Mega Latios, Mega Latias, and Mega Aerodactyl are the best counters for the Legendary’s Tier-5 Raid.
