Peyton List, Sarah Yarkin and Nick Pugliese talk about school spirit
Screen Rant: If you could only use one word to describe your character this season, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
The Peyton List: Torture.
Sarah Yarkin: Damn.
Price Nick: Really?
Sarah Yarkin: Outside. I won’t give up the rest.
Nick Pugliese: I think Charlie is very “sweet”.
Maddie has no idea how she died, much to the surprise of the other ghosts. This section will explore why her situation is so different from others?
Nick Pugliese: Well, since this is a special case, some questions will be answered, and many more will be explored. [Laughs]
Sarah Yarkin: There have certainly been twists and turns. This is a special case.
payton, after playing tories Grand cobra For a long time, what surprised you the most about McGrady?
Peyton List: Maddie is calmer and more down-to-earth than Tory, who is becoming calmer, but they are different. I feel like Maddie has better control of her anger and desire to fight.
Nick, what do we need to know before Charlie dies? He’s been stuck at this school since the ’90s and we know he didn’t feel like he was allowed to be himself during that time.
Nick Pugliese: Yes, that will be explored and you will see a bit of his life. You will see the difference in his gait and attitude from when he was a scared little boy to now when he is a little ghost. You will see a little.
Sarah, I love your character. Rhonda is very reserved, but she has a great sense of humour. Did you know the entire plot before or did you learn more about her while reading the script?
Sarah Yarkin: There were descriptions of her for sure, and she was on a dark road when we got the script, but I think in my audition, there were two sides to the interpretation of the scene where she spoke. tell us how she was murdered. So I know to get into it.
And then as the series goes on, Megan and Nate, the show’s creators, will tell me little by little about what’s going on so I know because it’s important for my characters to know at Why do I do certain things? It really helps me make choices when it comes to roleplaying. At first, I just thought, “Oh, she’s so rude.” Then when I saw her open up, I thought, “Oh, wow, I’ll show a different side.” That’s great.
How’s the dynamics between all the ghosts? None of them were chosen by choice, but they stayed together forever. Does the metaphor of finding a family work?
Sarah Yarkin: Of course.
Nick Pugliese: Oh, yes. Old couples, finding families, all that.
Peyton List: People are cornered in a situation with no way out.
Nick Pugliese: Good things, bad things and bad things happen, but in the end it’s love.

SCHOOL SPIRITS revolves around Maddie, a teenage girl trapped in the afterlife who is investigating her own mysterious disappearance. Maddie embarks on a journey to solve cases while adjusting to purgatory in high school, but the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she uncovers.
