Pete Davidson put his life under the microscope while parodying Ryan Gosling’s iconic film Barbie song “I’m Just Ken” on Saturday night live.
The 29-year-old comedian and ex. SNL The cast member returned to the late night show to host the October 14 episode. After joking about game of Thrones In the opening monologue, Pete provided a musical moment that would go viral for the night’s musical guest, Ice Spice.
Complete with custom lyrics that referenced everything from a recent car accident and a stay in rehab to his famous relationships, his high energy, and even Kanye West, Pete expressed it all in a way that would probably make Ryan’s Ken very proud.

Pete’s version of the song is titled “I’m Just Pete.” The accompanying music video begins with him listening to some of the others. SNL stars making fun of him and his various projects.
“No one cares about the work I do / I also did a show with Joe Pesci / And no one aired it except my mom,” the downtrodden star sings about her series. Bupkis.
He goes on to address his appearance, stating, “‘Cause I’m just Pete / Anyone else would be a 3, but I guess I like guys in comedy / ‘Cause it’s an ugly industry,” he sings.
On the topic of his famous relationships, Pete jokes that headlines are linking him to Michelle Obama. He also alluded to “that famous big penis energy,” a rumor about his member started by his ex-fiancee Ariana Grande.
Perhaps the most revealing lyric was a reference to his time with Kim Kardashian. Instead of singing about her, he alluded to Kanye bullying him on social media and giving him the nickname Skeet.
It seems like something is going on there, since Pete can’t “legally” say Kanye’s name.
