‘Pawn Stars’ Harrison Family Launches Educational Fund for Adam’s Son After His Death

The fund, which was established at GiftofCollege.com, is dedicated to Adam’s son Colton. TMZ reported that Adam’s ex-wife, Jennifer, established the fund for Colton’s future educational endeavors. The Harrison family told the media outlet that the fund is the best way to ensure that people’s goodwill and charitable efforts towards the family are put to the best use.

So far, the fund has raised $500.

After Adam’s death, pawn stars Star Rick spoke about the fentanyl crisis in the US and how the situation needs to be taken more seriously. “Fentanyl turned my son into someone he wasn’t,” Harrison told Fox News Digital. “And that brought with it bad decisions and expenses in prison.”

Fox News Digital reported that Adam was in prison for months before moving to a guest house in the Las Vegas area. He was discovered dead in the same guest house on January 19.

Meanwhile, pawn stars Star Rick Harrison confirmed that Adam died from a fentanyl overdose.

“Yes, I can confirm that Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” he said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country needs to be taken more seriously. It seems like it’s just overstepping the boundaries and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Fox News further reported that Adam lived in the guest house for two weeks before his death. A woman who lived in a mobile home between the main house and the guest house shared with police that he “demonstrated” alarming behavior. This included barricading themselves in the house.

The incident report also revealed: “Their conversations often lacked sound reasoning and mental clarity.”

Adam was last seen on January 17. The person renting the main house became concerned after he didn’t answer the door. He also said that he received a message from her saying that he was sick and that he was in quarantine. Two days later, he contacted the owner, who went to the guesthouse and found Adam unresponsive.

Inside the guesthouse, authorities discovered two vital signs of a “censored substance” next to the mattress. They also found an “aluminum foil with an unknown pill, lighters and straws for narcotics paraphernalia.”

Adam was the second of the pawn stars protagonist with his ex-wife Kim. Along with Adam, the former shared their eldest son, Corey. Although he did not appear on the show, Adam worked at the store.
