Pauly D’s full name is Paul DelVecchio Jr., who was born on July 5, 1980, in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. The famous DJ is a native of the United States and is of Italian ethnicity. In the year 2009, Pauly D became a member of the famous American reality show, ‘Jersey Shore’, which premiered on MTV. He then stated that his reputation as a DJ was not the reason for his presence at the show. The DJ even claimed that the creators of ‘Jersey Shore’ had contacted him through an online website, Myspace, after they liked his appearances. After cooperating with ‘Jersey Shore’ entire Myspace agents, he gave them his phone number, the position for which he was called by the show’s casting directors.
The casting directors had called him from Los Angeles to let him know that they were sending some members of their team to his apartment to film a day in his life. MTV’s camera crew watched him for a whole day. This took them to the gym, his club and many others that he regularly went to. After 6 months, the American DJ received a phone call from the creators of ‘Jersey Shore’ and they informed him that he was going to be a part of the show. His fame increased after being present in the same reality show, which caused famous publications to write about him.
The American weekly “Time” described his fans as “seriously rabid”, which says a lot about the adoration his fans feel for him. His fame even boosted his musical career and he released his single “Beat Dat Beat” in the year 2010. That same year, he earned a nomination for ‘America’s Best DJ’. Likewise, he again got a nomination for the same contest the following year. On August 11, 2011, the DJ stated that he had secured a deal to bring three albums to 50 Cent’s record labels, “G-Unit Records” and “G-Note Records.”

That same year, he worked alongside Britney Spears while performing at the inaugural performance of Britney’s ‘Femme Fatale Tour’ in major cities across North America. In 2016, the American DJ landed a role of himself in a short film, ‘Spring Break Zombie Massacre’.
