In 2014, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, he visited Pankaj Modi’s house to seek blessings from his mother on his birthday. Before her demise in December 2022, Narendra Modi often visited his mother and spent time talking to her.

- In 2020, he visited New Delhi for the Gujarat Tableau on the occasion of Republic Day, which showcased the architectural and cultural heritage of Gujarat. When asked about the tableau of Gujarat in an interview, he said,
