OJ Simpson’s official death certificate released

Days after the cause of his death was announced as metastatic prostate cancer, OJ Simpson’s official death certificate was released.

The late NFL player passed away on April 10 at the age of 76.

According to OJ Simpson’s executor, Malcolm LaVergne, the certificate was issued by Clark County in Nevada. He confirms the cause of death was prostate cancer. LaVergne noted that no other causes were listed.

Although his children announced that they were present at the time of his death, OJ supposedly died with only one person at his side. LaVergne confirmed this and avoided questions about Simpson making deathbed confessions to her.

Many speculated that the late disgraced athlete may have admitted to murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. Although he was charged with the murders, Simpson was acquitted during what was dubbed the “Trial of the Century” in nineteen ninety five.

However, despite the not guilty verdict, there has been speculation that Simpson was responsible for the deaths. He never admitted to being involved in the deaths of Brown and Goldman, but years later, he wrote a hypothetical book about how he would have murdered them.

After being considered a person of interest, OJ Simpson attracted attention when he was involved in a low-speed police chase in the Los Angeles subway. After being arrested, he was charged.

Although he was acquitted at his criminal trial, Simpson was found liable during the civil trial brought by the Brown and Goldman families. He was ordered to pay the grieving families $33.5 million. However, he never paid the full amount.
