Official Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Starter Plushes Available Now

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were announced on Pokémon Day, but all that was revealed at the time was the name of the games and the identity of the three starter Pokémon that players can choose from. The starter Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito. Quaxly is the Water-type starter of Gen 9, and it resembles a duck with a gorgeous head of hair, suggesting that its final evolution will be an even bigger duck with a Fabio-style haircut. Sprigatito is the Grass-type starter of Gen 9, and it looks like a mixture of a cat and a leaf, suggesting that its final evolution will be some sort of tree tiger, ideally one that walks on all fours, to distinguish it from Incineroar from Pokémon Sun and Moon. It’s now possible to own official plushies of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet starters. The official Pokémon Center Twitter account has announced that the plushies for Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito are now available for purchase on the Pokémon Center website. The Pokémon Company makes a lot of money from merchandise sales, which is helped by the fact that Pokémon are ideal for turning into dolls and plushies. The starter Pokémon of each generation tend to get a lot of attention in this regard, as they’re always among the most popular, thanks to how most players will use at least one of them throughout their Pokémon journey, making them attached to the starter that helped them become the Champion. If The Pokémon Company really wants to make money, then they should probably make a Fidough from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet plush as soon as possible, considering how popular that Pokémon has already become in such a short period of time.
