- In May 2019, a day after the death of her grandfather Veeru Devgan on 27 May 2019, Nysa was trolled for visiting a salon. Responding to trolls, Ajay Devgan said-
They (trolls) don’t really know what’s going on. Let me give you an example, I never talked about this. When I lost my father the next day, the children became very upset. Nisa kept crying the whole day and people were at home, a lot of people. I told him please go, his mood will change. They’re here, we’re handling people, we’re doing this. You just go out. She didn’t know where to go, so she went and went to the parlor. I said, go wash your hair or get something else. They have clicked pictures of her entering the parlor and they have trolled her. ‘Grandfather has just died and he is in the parlor.’ What rights do they have? I am sending it to her so that she feels better, she is going through shock. What right does he have to say so? This is ridiculous.”

While some people appreciated her look, some also trolled her for her look and makeup. She has already been trolled for her clothes, while replying to the trolls, Ajay Devgan said-
He [Nysa] She’s only 14 and I think sometimes people forget that and do stupid things. He was wearing such a long shirt and he was also wearing shorts. Now due to the length of the shirt, his shorts were not visible and the child was trolled for this.
